Scent Profile: peppermint, citrus, benzoin (from essential oils) 

 I make this soap with coconut milk, but it is coconut oil free! Instead, I use babassu oil, which gives a bubbly lather, but it is gentler and mildly creamier for those who may be sensitive to coconut oil. 

The peppermint essential oil used in this soap is a refreshing aromatic, can stimulate microcirculation on the skin, and also can create a temporary cooling effect for some people. I do not recommend this soap if you have very sensitive skin, or are unsure if you are sensitive to peppermint essential oil in a soap product. 

I use below the IFRA recommended level for peppermint essential oil so that any effect some may experience is very mild. Some may not experience any noticable effects. Great for the face and body, but I suggest not using in sensitive areas. Not recommended for children, although this soap has been tested on my whole family including my children and myself. 

Ingredients:

 Sodium Babassuate (babassu oil), Sodium Palmate (palm oil), Sodium Castorate (castor oil), Sodium Shea Butterate (shea butter), Sodium Olivate (olive oil), Water, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Milk, Glycerin, Sodium Lactate, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil, Styrax Benzoin Resin Extract (benzoin essential oil), Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf Powder (indigo), Sepiolite (sepiolite clay).

 Keep bar dry between uses for best results. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This product is not made to prevent, cure, or treat any disease. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Consult a physician if pregnant as some essential oils should not be used during pregnancy.
